The founder of Kamanjola completed his doctorate in Aachen. But he founded his start-up in Augsburg. Dr. Jules André Kengmogne Tchakam is launching with this concept.

The start-up Kamanjola GmbH, based in the Siemens Technopark, has been on the market since September 2021. The company was founded by Dr. Jules André Kengmogne Tchakam. Kamanjola sees itself as a partner in all matters relating to cognitive business management using artificial intelligence (AI) and digital twins. The start-up aims to cover the areas of big data analytics, cloud computing and enterprise architecture. The customers that Kamanjola has already worked with come from a wide range of sectors: industry, plant engineering, the automotive sector and aerospace.

How the Kamanjola founder assesses his start-up

“Our aim is to generate strong partnerships and strengthen operational structures for cognitive business management and facilitate analysis work in order to make just-in-time decisions,” says the company’s founder Dr. Jules André Kengmogne Tchakam. The 45-year-old engineer sees himself as a craftsman for companies. He analyzes processes from the bottom up. “We work with existing data, automate processes and make them more effective. This allows us to automate processes, reduce operating costs and increase profits,” explains Kengmogne Tchakam.

Promotion in Aachen

The founder comes from Cameroon and has lived in Germany for 25 years. He completed his doctorate at RWTH Aachen University and worked for twelve years in management at a large industrial company in the aerospace sector. It was here that he began to transfer human intelligence to machines. “Systems learn to see and understand,” he says. He deliberately chose the name of his new company. In his native language, “Kamanjola” means “bold daring riders”.
